Petzl IKO revamps headlamp design! Features a comfortable AIRFIT headband and a light source consisting of multiple LEDs that produces even light. Operates with both a rechargeable Petzl Core Li-ion battery (included) and three AAA batteries. Battery operation quickly becomes more economical than using batteries when the headlamp is used frequently, and power output is excellent even at low temperatures. The battery is located at the back of the head for even weight distribution. Weighing only 79 grams in total, the headlamp is comfortable to use even for extended periods.
The light has two different lighting modes: FLOOD, which provides a wide and even beam, and MIXED, which offers a more focused beam. Switching between beam modes is easy using the button on the bottom of the light head.
The battery's micro-USB charging port is located on the battery itself, so a spare battery (sold separately) can be charged separately while another battery or batteries are in use in the light.
