Cookies are used on website. Everyone who visits a website that uses cookies must be informed by law that the website contains cookies, what they are used for and how to opt out of them.

A cookie is a small text file that is stored on the visitor's computer and contains information. Cookies are normally used to improve the website for the visitor. There are two types of cookies:

  • One type saves a file that remains on the visitor's computer. The file is used e.g. to make it easier for the visitor to use the website based on their wishes and interests.
  • The second type is called session cookie. While a visitor is inside a web page, it is temporarily stored in the visitor's computer memory. Session cookies disappear when the visitor closes their browser. No personal information, e.g. e-mail or name, is saved about the visitor.

This type of cookie use both types of cookies. When you visit our website, a session cookie is sent between your computer and our web server to among other things, facilitate navigation. The cookie disappears when you end the visit.

If you as a visitor do not accept that the website use cookies, you can turn off the function via your browser's security settings. You can also set the browser so that you receive a warning every time the website tries to place a cookie on your computer.

If you do not want cookies to be stored on your computer, you can also turn off that function in your browser settings. Then no cookies will be stored, but you will not be able to use certain functions on the website, you will not be able to make a purchase, for example.

General information about cookies and the new law on electronic communication can be found on the Swedish Post and Telecom Agency's website.
