Shelly The Pro3 EM is a three-phase energy meter that uses current transformers to measure energy in three individual phases with a load of up to 120 A and 99% accuracy. The device reports accumulated energy in real time, as well as instantaneous voltage, current, and power factor on a phase-by-phase basis. It stores data in non-volatile memory, which can be retrieved for up to 60 days at 1-minute intervals.
Shelly The Pro 3EM is designed for DIN-rail mounting and comes with three current transformers. The device reports power measurement (W), voltage measurement (V), current measurement (A), and power factor (PF) in real time and stores measurements for up to 60 days locally on the device and for 365 days when connected to the Shelly Cloud application. The device also meets the requirements of the IEC 62053-21 standard with Class B accuracy (maximum 1% deviation). Shelly The Pro 3EM features a built-in real-time clock that retains the time and date if the connection to the SNTP server is lost.
Shelly The Pro 3EM can be connected to the Internet or a local 2.4 GHz WiFi network. Additionally, the device features built-in Bluetooth, as found in all Pro and Plus devices, enabling the Shelly Pro 3EM to act as a gateway to other Shelly Bluetooth devices. The device operates locally without a connection to the Shelly Cloud, but it is recommended to activate this feature to facilitate data storage and enhance functionality. The device can also communicate via MQTT, HTTP, and WebSocket. Additionally, the Pro 3EM supports the MODBUS bus, enabling easy and quick deployment in existing industrial installations.
The device is equipped with 2nd-generation hardware, which includes a powerful ESP32 processor and enhanced safety features such as overheating, overcurrent, overvoltage, and overload protection. It also enables the use of command-line functions for advanced and customized operations, as well as a range extension function with the device.
Please note that the Shelly Pro 3EM does not have a built-in dry contact relay, unlike the older Shelly 3EM. Instead, you can connect the Shelly Pro Add-On module for up to three-phase switching.
Shelly n smart home products support Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant virtual assistants. In addition to the above, several other smart home systems/platforms are supported (check compatibility on a product-by-product basis). Shelly products connect to a wireless Wi-Fi network and do not require a separate home automation controller to function.
