Flaskan har ett angivet bäst före-datum, i detta fall december 2026. Enligt tillverkaren är detta datum ett krav för märkning, men det innebär inte att flaskan blir osäker att använda efter det. På mycket lång sikt – efter flera års användning – kan flaskan eventuellt börja visa tecken på slitage, såsom små sprickor. Skulle detta ske är det klokt att kassera flaskan, men detta gäller oavsett bäst före-datum. Det är vanligt att flaskor används tryggt i mer än 10 år efter att datumet har passerat.
