The bottle has a cap with a hermetic seal that keeps the carbonation intact for a long time. It can be cleaned with warm water, a bottle brush, and a small amount of regular dish soap when needed. Do not place the bottles in the dishwasher, as extreme heat weakens the elasticity of the plastic.
