The bottle has a stated best-before date, in this case December 2025. According to the manufacturer, this date is a labeling requirement, but it does not mean that the bottle becomes unsafe to use after that. In the very long term – after several years of use – the bottle may possibly begin to show signs of wear, such as small cracks. If this occurs, it is wise to discard the bottle, but this applies regardless of the best-before date. It is common for bottles to be used safely for more than 10 years after the date has passed.
