Arlo The Essential 2 HD is a fully self-contained 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi connected surveillance camera. This product contains three white Arlo Essential 2 HD cameras. The cameras feature Full HD resolution, two-way audio, a small LED light and a built-in siren, and are suitable for outdoor and indoor use.
Arlo The Essential 2 HD camera has a resolution of 1920 x 1080 and a 130° field of view. The camera features a passive infrared sensor for motion detection. The Essential also features a small LED light for a vibrant image in the dark. The user can specify how and when the light turns on and whether it should remain steady or flash, for example. And of course it is also possible not to use the light, allowing the camera's normal IR vision to work at night.
Arlo Secure cloud service
Essential comes with one month* (1 month) of access to the manufacturer's Arlo Secure Cloud Service. In addition to cloud storage, the service activates advanced and intelligent features for Arlo cameras. For example, the accuracy of motion detection will be significantly improved as the cameras will be able to detect people, vehicles, animals and packages left at the door. The service will also allow users to select active areas in the image where motion detection is active or disabled. In addition to improved motion detection, the service also delivers advanced notifications to the user's mobile device. Not only will the user receive a message or notification on the lock screen of the device, but also a screenshot of the camera and the option to start a live playback of the camera directly from the lock screen. In addition, the user can react to the notification directly from the lock screen, for example by activating an audio alarm or by calling a dialled number.

The product package does not include a separate power supply, only a charging cable. Camera batteries can be charged using a 5 V/2 A USB power supply.
* Arlo The 1 month Secure license is activated once for all cameras included in the bundle when a single camera is registered for use.
Note: The battery life of the camera is significantly affected by the operating temperature, wireless network strength, camera usage, and the number of motion detections. Under optimal conditions, the camera battery will last up to months on a single charge.
