Wonder Wheel is the story of four people's lives that intertwine in a charming and bustling amusement park on Coney Island. The waitress, Ginny (Kate Winslet), is a former actress with a tendency to both extreme excitement and quiet melancholy. Humpty (Jim Belushi) is Ginny's scraggly husband and carousel operator. Micky (Justin Timberlake) is the pretty young lifeguard who dreams of becoming a screenwriter. Finally, we meet Carolina (Juno Temple), Humpty's daughter, with whom he has not had contact for many years, and who is now hiding in her father's apartment on the run from gangsters.
