Kevin Kline is back in a delightful comedy from the Oscar-nominated creators of AMERICAN SPLENDOR.
In THE EXTRA MAN, we get to follow Louis, a solitary dreamer who, after an embarrassing situation, has to leave his job at the exclusive school in Princeton. He goes to New York for a new start in life. Well there he rents a room from Henry, an eccentric but brilliant playwright who, when he's not writing, takes on assignments as an extra man, an escort for a rich widow in Manhattan. Despite the age difference of more than 40 years, the two develop a friendship that leads them into many unexpected and comical situations.
