The shy warehouse worker Stig-Helmer Olsson (Lasse Åberg) decides to go on the first charter holiday of his life and spend Christmas in the Canary Islands. The only problem is that he suffers terribly from a fear of flying. He seeks out Dr. Levander, who tries to cure Stig-Helmer of his fear of flying. The doctor is going to buy a house in the Canary Islands with black money - money that he lures Stig-Helmer to smuggle with him on the holiday. On the plane, Stig-Helmer ends up on the side
