Stranger - the first showdown
The large-scale feature film debut from Mads Hedegaard takes us thousands of years back in time to the story of the young woman Aathi (Angela Bundalovic), who, together with her family, has traveled to prehistoric Denmark to create a new life, but it becomes a harsh and fateful battle in the encounter with a local hunter tribe.
4000 years before our era, the young woman Aathi and her family arrive as the first farmers ever in southern Scandinavia. A clash with a local tribe results in almost the entire family being killed. Aathi and her brother are now completely alone and are forced to live with the tribe that killed their family and learn their traditions in order to survive. But gradually the demands on Aathi become more and more ruthless, and she is forced to make a tough decision.
