Heim is a bittersweet romantic comedy about friendship, grief and love. When Anni (39) is fired from her job, she is forced to move back home to her mother's maid's room in her hometown. Suddenly she is single, broke and unemployed. After running away from her past her entire adult life, this summer she is forced to confront what she has always run away from.
