Fletch:
Until last week, Irwin Fletcher (Chevy Chase) was just another peaceful reporter fighting for truth, justice, and an office with a window. But things change when he goes undercover as a junkie to track down some drug dealers.
On this assignment, he meets Stanwyk (Tim Matheson), who says he's dying of bone cancer and asks Fletch to kill him so his wife can collect on the insurance. It seems Stanwyk has arranged the perfect crime - a fake robbery, a getaway car (Jaguar), and a first-class ticket to Rio.
But something is wrong. And as Fletch takes on various disguises in his quest to uncover the truth, he finds himself threatened with death, shot at, accused, and arrested. And by the very people he's trying to help!

Chevy Chase is back as the carefree investigative reporter Irwin M. Fletcher in another hilarious comedy.
This time, the chameleon-like reporter heads to Belle Isle - a Louisiana plantation he inherited from his aunt. Trouble begins when a bumbling lawyer mysteriously dies, a friendly lawyer (Hal Holbrook) advises him to disappear, and a beautiful real estate agent (Julianne Phillips) insists on making him an offer he may not be able to refuse.
Fletch once again resorts to his amazing disguises and uncovers the story behind the events in this action-packed comedy.
