In a small, run-down prairie town, a villainous guy, Colorado Slim, and his nasty gang have settled down. Their rampage has gradually become so annoying - and not least frightening - for the residents that they flee far away. But then it becomes too much for Buddy. Together with his friend Cocoa, he settles down in the town as a doctor. Not because he is a doctor, but more because he has happened to come into possession of a doctor's bag with all sorts of instruments.

Terence Hill & Bud Spencer are back in another hilarious western comedy, their last film together. Travis (Terence Hill) is the fastest gunslinger in the West. His brother Moses (Bud Spencer), who is as big as a bear and twice as grumpy, is the toughest bounty hunter in the wilderness. When their loving mother decides to reunite her sons for Christmas, it becomes Travis' job to lure Moses home. That explains why the film is also known as The Night Before Christmas and The Fight Before Christmas!

The handsome and quick-shooting Doc is hot on the heels of desperado Bill San Antonio and his gang, who have just robbed a train and killed everyone on board. Insurance detective Earp follows Doc when he finds that Doc can lead him to the criminals. Together, Doc and Earp get their hands on the stolen goods they are hiding. Unfortunately, they don't manage to get away on their own. In the film's explosive finale, they fight the tough battle against Bill San Antonio to the end.
