Arbitrage is an exciting and dramatic thriller about the big fall of a powerful financier. The roles are masterfully played by RICHARD GERE, SUSAN SARANDON and TIM ROTH. The 60-year-old billionaire Robert Miller appears to be a successful man - both in his career and privately. But in reality, he desperately needs to close the sale of his empire to a large bank before his big fraud is revealed. Miller works hard to maintain the facade in front of his wife, daughter, business partner and his French mistress. But just as everything seems to fall into place, Robert is involved in a car accident which he escapes from. Policeman Michael Bryer is suspicious of Robert, and the otherwise uncompromising businessman must now confront the boundaries of his own double standards.
