Hun king Attila
Two worlds come together - and the same goes to men, who personify these two worlds' values and innermost being. The Hun king Attila (Gerard Butler) is a visionary and sees more in his people than they see in themselves. While the Huns are content to plunder and blackmail the surrounding nations, Attila has his sights set on the possibility of creating an empire and a new world order. The Roman general Flavius Aëtius (Powers Boothe) represents the best and worst sides of Rome in the last years of the empire. He is motivated by one overriding goal: Rome's world domination shall remain. Two different visions and two of the century's strongest personalities. A conflict that characterizes Attila the Hun.
