Ear supports high-resolution audio playback via Bluetooth and the LDAC and LHCD codecs. The result is high-quality sound that is reproduced exactly as the artist intended. The earbuds' noise-canceling feature reduces background noise by up to 45 decibels. You can choose between three noise-cancellation levels or let Ear decide for you: with the Nothing X app, available for download on your smart device, you can enable noise-cancellation adaptation, allowing Ear to optimize the noise-cancellation level based on the real-time noise level in your environment.
The Nothing X app, available for download on Android or iOS devices, offers a wealth of additional features and automatically delivers all new updates to your earbuds. In the app, you can, among other things, deeply customize the headphones' sound with an 8-band equalizer, create different profiles for various music genres, and share or import profiles using a QR code, create your personal sound profile using the Mimi hearing test with a real-time adaptive equalizer, and enable bass boost and Bluetooth dual connection, which allows you to connect the headphones to two devices simultaneously. The headphones switch the primary connection from, for example, a tablet to a phone when you receive a call. Thanks to Clear Voice microphones, you can hear your conversation partner clearly in all conditions.
Integrated ChatGPT—Ask, listen, and learn on the go. Nothing integration is the first of its kind and works with Nothing ear headphones when you pair them with your Nothing (Available on Phone (2) and coming as a software update later to Phone (1) and Phone (2a) models).
